I’ve worked as a writer and editor for eighteen years, covering such key issues as 17th century brewing techniques, virtual reality hiking, Viking dialect in North Yorkshire and the use of chloroform for criminal purposes.
Mainly, though, I write about travel and the outdoors, and I’ve squandered a good deal of my life wearing out boot leather in the hills.
My first novel, The Tin Face Parade, was shortlisted for the Bridport First Novel Prize in 2018, and is available here.
